Let’s prepare sweet keto Maple Bacon Donuts!
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1/3 cup butter melted
- 1/4 cup of swerving granulated
- 2 tablespoons swerve brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of Stevia liquid
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
Frosting ingredients
- 1/2 cup swerve powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon maple extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- Chopped bacon, enough to sprinkle on top
Instructions to prepare a Keto Maple Bacon Donuts:
- Mix 1/3 melted butter, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream.
- Combine almond flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Add wet ingredients and dry ingredients together, mix well.
- Beat in 4 eggs & add 1 tsp of liquid stevia and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
- Grease donut pans and fill.
- bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350°.
- When donuts are done baking remove and let cool.
- To make frosting add all ingredients in a bowl blend together until smooth.
- Frost & top with chopped cooked bacon.
