CABBAGE SAUSAGE BAKE
Ingredients –
- 2 lbs ground sausage or meat of choice
- 1 head of cabbage sliced in 1 inch steaks
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp herbs of Provence
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 small onion diced
- 7oz plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp fresh dill chopped
- 2 tsp green onion chopped
- 1 Tbls tomato paste
Instructions –
- Slice cabbage into 1 inch steaks and place on parchment lined baking sheet
- Salt and pepper cabbage to taste
- Place ground sausage in large bowl
- Add salt, pepper, paprika, nutmeg, herbs of Provence, garlic and onion to meat and mix with hands until well combined
- Form into large patties and place on cabbage steaks
- mix yogurt, dill, green onion and tomato paste until combined
- Top each patty with sauce mix
- Cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
