Turkey Lettuce Wraps Recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or coconut aminos for a soy-free option)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 head lettuce (such as iceberg or butter lettuce)
Instructions on preparing Turkey Lettuce Wraps:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground turkey.
- Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce (or coconut aminos) and sesame oil.
- Pour the mixture over the cooked ground turkey and stir well to coat.
- Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend together.
- Meanwhile, separate the leaves of the lettuce head and rinse them under cold water.
- Pat dry with a paper towel.
